Here it is finally... The See Monster has finally been erected in all its glory!
A decommissioned North Sea Gas Platform. At 35 metres, the scale of it is hard to ignore.
Last July we watched in awe as it was hauled up the Bristol Channel on a barge as large as a football pitch, across the beach and over the wall of the long retired town swimming pool. (Also the home of Banksy's Dismaland)
Well worth a visit. We were treated to spectacular views across the channel thanks to some late September sunshine.
