The Historic Ropery

Chatham Dockyard has been making miles and miles of rope since 1618, including rigging out Nelson's "Victory"
The 19th century Ropery is still producing rope in the traditional way today! The rope shed is 1100 feet long...that's quarter of a mile of one continuous length. They use bikes to get from one end of the shed to the other!!
Cool capture. Interesting manufacturing facility.
