Tawny frogmouths

My son found these two frogmouths sitting in the wattle tree in my front yard this morning - I would have walked straight past them.
It is always a delight to see these birds. We hear and see them occasionally, but I think they range around the area.

They are not easy to spot are they because they blend in so well with the tree bark.

@ethelperry @tibles @onewing Thanks for commenting. Babs you are certainly right when you say the 'blend in so well' - it took me a while to find them when I knew they were there.
