Antietam Creek

Cell Phone Shot (I really need to bring my dslr out with me when I run errands!)

The sun was just about down and the creek was in the shadows. We have a lot of historical bridges like this in the area that I live in. I love these old, stone, arched bridges. And the water is so pretty in this area as well. I love the color of this water when it's cold outside.
Yes, but isn’t that the beauty of the cell phone camera....it’s with you when the other isn’t. I think it’s a beautiful shot and the colors of the water are beautiful.

So fabulous to watch the force of the water going down the river and hear the sounds it makes as it rushes down! Maybe I appreciate this more than you because we have no rivers to talk of. I like that beautiful bridge crossing the river, too. Fav.

@sangwann - Dione, I am so drawn to water. I always have been. Every vacation we take is surrounded by water of some sort and my husband never understands why we dont go to the mountains or other places (we do! But theres a lake ornriver close by!) and I'm in love with the ocean. The water, I think, is my spirit animal! There's something so peaceful and calming to me. Come visit and I'll take you to all of the water spots!

Beautiful rushing water over the rocks. You and I are alike. I originally am from Hamburg, Germany. we had the river Elbe near by, which flows into the Nordsee (Northsea). where I live now, I'm 4 houses away from a lake. vacationing is always where there is water.

The turbulence is such a good contrast to the permanence of the bridge.
