While looking through drawers and other places to find things to photograph today, I came across my grandmother's gold watch. I wonder, but I'll never know, when did she get it, who gave it to her or did she buy it for herself. It has her maiden name initials on it so she must have been quite young when she got it because she married at age 18 (!). I bet she treasured it.
You have captured this perfectly, the detailing on it is so clear. I love antiques and old heirlooms because it's fascinating to think of the stories behind them . I wonder if it was from a secret admirer?!
