I think this is the original light from when the house was built circa 1940 - not sure.
I am a little freaked out. I just discovered that pictures that I had downloaded to an external sands ssd drive to save computer space are no longer there on that drive. I had been backing up that drive to Backblaze but that backup had stopped working and it is now beyond the 30 days that they will keep it if not backed up in that time. I can see what most of them are because there are still thumbnails (with that ?) on Lightroom. I am in the process of trying to see if they are on dropbox.
Anyway what do you guys do for backup?
Great shot - but miserable problem. I'm in the midst of looking into back up ways, too. Trying to read about backing up to the cloud - if only I understood what they were saying :)
nice shot jean. sorry to hear about the backup issue. i have all my photos on an external hard drive (and i dread the day it gives up the ghost, which it surely will) and then they're backed up manually by me every month (or so!) to our time machine backup device. i should no doubt also use the cloud @milaniet but also struggle to understand it :) hope your issues will be resolved soon jean :)
How freaky. I have originals on an external hard drive and back them up at same time on a “passport” hard drive. Weekly I synch them to a third external drive and every three months or so I copy all to another passport that I keep off site. We have lousy internet so I don’t back up to cloud
