This photo I took also during my hike to the summit of Leonsberg. On the way I thought about premature reversal. Snow, ice and fog - the mountains can be dangerous... And I had no navi with me. You have to assess the risk...
But the mood in the fog has its own beauty. And at some point the sun has yet to come ...
The starkness of this shot really gives off so much feeling - but the cold but also the solitude and the feeling of being totally alone. Love it. Fav (In fact, there hasn't been a shot you've posted that I haven't loved!)
In like this eerie feeling that exudes this. The overall silence and the crunch of the snow under your feet you can almost "hear". Magnificent composition and tones. Fav.
