Accomplished! Finally the summit of Leonsberg is reached. The fog lake ends at the treeline. The peaks of the surrounding mountains rise out of the mist like islands in an ocean. Such a sight I can enjoy very much. You are viewing the top of the Schafberg, a prominent mountain in Salzkammergut. At its base is a large lake, which is now sunk deep in the fog.
But we can not stay long - before dark we have to be in the valley again... And we must again through the fog...
Knew this is yours right away. ;-) No wonder as the Schafberg has such prominent features. Glad you made it to the top of Leonsberg and had this wonderfull view. I doubt your are heading upwards on this weekend due to the weather forecast. But if you do, take care! Awesome and huge fav.
