The further climb takes us through light forest. The trees are now gnarled by harsher climate.
The sun shines very strong and we will have no shadows after crossing the tree line. It is therefore good that we have cream with a high sun protection with us, a cap, sunglasses, also enough water.

Marvelous shot - the lighting is wonderful - warm and bright. Those wonderful tree roots are like fingers digging into the earth - really gives it a feeling of having been there a long time. And now we continue through this beautiful spot.
