If the sunlight sparkles and glistens on a lake surface, I always feel the light smiles at me. And I love to smile back...

Oh... so many nice comments and favs... Thank you so much for this nice resonance! I am very touched!
...
Let me say a few words. I hope I do not bore you.
Meeting each other with pictures - something very special for me. It strikes a chord with me.
When an image is genuine and authentic, it's always a part of the creator. And if it appeals to other people, then there is something common in it that we share - something that touches the human. Personal and generally acknowledged get together... a special process, which really touches me every time again.
Talking with pictures... I think there is a grammar of visual language. As in the language of words, as in music. I am convinced that there can be learned a lot by making conscious. I do not think that the world loses its charm when it is considered in this way. I believe it increases its magic.
What us human determines is our thinking and feeling. I think with pictures we can explore the world and ourselves.
If I look at the great works of art - architecture, painting, graphic etc. to prehistoric cave paintings, then I see something timeless, beyond all styles and cultures. Homer still touches us - because people in those ancient times loved and suffered as we today.
Lines, directions, movings, textures, dark and light, tones, gestures of forms... are the visual elements. But it is important to see the single parts in their context.
Junko@jyokota mentions the contrast of lines. I think the targeted use of contrasts is one of the important design elements. Dark-light, much-little, horizontal-vertical, tight-loose, large-small... make a picture alive. We carry in our experience of the world: day and night, summer and winter, hot and cold, loud and quiet, breath in and breath out...life and death. And over all stands the feeling. The feeling, the empathy, the sensitivity are at the beginning and at the end.
Just some thought splinters.
Please excuse my inelegant English.
Absolutely stunning capture Jerome. Love this soft tones, the "neat/clean" bokeh and the delicacy and details of the Umbelliferae. And I totally agree with your words of wisdom. You have such a profound soul. I hope this goes right to the top twenties. It would really deserve it.
This is so outstandingly beautiful Jerome, what a unique photo. You have such a gift. You are a dreamer and a gentle soul and a rare gem. Those around you are lucky to have you.
