Beautifully pristine, nothing out of place. Fantastic detail/texture in the snow - love the little mounds of covered/half-covered vegetation and those shadows bring out the shapes. the feeling is one of expansiveness - that this scene goes on forever.

I would miss it: a winter without snow. Certainly - everyday life is not so easy - the cold, ice and snow... You have to heat the house. The roads can be dangerous. You have to dress warmly when you go outside. There are avalanches in the mountains. But the white enchants the landscape and your heart. It's an own experience, to be on the way there.
@mona65 Ja, der Borkenkäfer hat gute Arbeit geleistet. Viel lieber bin jetzt dort, im Böhmerwald. Seit der Wald durch den Käfer an vielen Stellen stark gelichtet ist, hat man oben, auf den Hügelkuppen, recht schöne Ausblicke. Und die toten Bäume haben eine eigene Schönheit. Mich fasziniert, wie schön ein totes Lebewesen sein kann.
