This compliments so well the other cactus shot you posted. I think there has to be a third one to complete the set. Such a beautiful study of geometry in nature.

A few thoughts:
The result of my effort in creating an image is sometimes better, sometimes less convincing. But of course I am very happy when one of my pictures appeals to another person. I think a lot has happened then. It touches me very much.
I do not know if I can call it "love for nature"... It is perhaps more astonishment and emotion of its beauties. But maybe that's part of love too. Love... a big word. The older I get, the more miraculous is every encounter with nature and the living.
You are right, a picture tells a lot about its author. I think every picture is a self-portrait in some way. And I always hope that I can find the right words in my storytelling.
