LUNCH TIME by jerzyfotos

LUNCH TIME

Around noon our pooch gets a break that usually doesn't take us far and next door is fine most days. This gorgeous buck brought six does here to munch on growth that might be early, or the old growth from under the snow we had little of this year. He let me get close and moved occasionally if I broke a twig walking. One doe let me get within 25 feet and we have a certain understanding it seems. Beautiful sight to see ....
I am so glad that you are back home safely with the news of PV now. It breaks my heart to see it.

@stownsend thank you and it's that much nicer being home after seeing the news. When we planned a side trip to Mazatlán with a rental car a few years ago the highway was shut down because of the cartels chaos and we had to reschedule that trip. Hotels understood.

How wonderful to have wildlife in your backyard. I’m glad you made it back home from PV before the violence broke out.

Nicely captured! I enjoy the warm tones to this picture. I presume this is a deer species? Which one is it?
