@koalagardens Thank you very much. I've done a lot of playing trying to determine the "best" f number and it's a tie between f11 and f19 so far. This is f19 and I'm rather happy with this one.

@stownsend Thank you very much. I've just "tested" the needle at f22 to f9.5 & will put the 6 images in a collage for easy comparison. I have a strong feeling that f22 or f19 will be wonderful for insect eggs

@stownsend Mrs Brimstone was kind enough to oviposit May 10 last year. I'll be camping out in my garden...

I haven't tried the reverse lens, but it sure works well.

@joev I'm doing a lot of playing/experimenting so I can get things right for my insects. Regular macro is wonderful, but this is a new level for me.
