I've got my eyes on you

A close up using the reversed lens on the old Canon 500d at f18.
4 of the 6 simple eyes can be seen as a line of pale raised circles on the face.
On the creamy line running along the abdomen is a spiracle through which the caterpillar "breathes".
It isn't active respiration as in mammals but the spiracle leads to a tracheal tube through which oxygen and carbon dioxide diffuse thoughout the body.

@gardenfolk Many thanks. Insects and insect photography has been a hobby and fascination since 2005. I've tried, many times, but can't escape the minute world for the photography & study of bigger things.
