Half way through what has become my annus horribilis and distraction therapy was needed. I had been thinking about in camera focus stacking, so off I went to the camera shop.
They made me pay. I'm an old lady with a bus pass and they made me pay! What is wrong with this world?
The baby shield bug is about 1/4 inch, his body is totally still and in perfect focus (this is really clever) but his antennae were waving around as he tried to decide his next move.
Focus stacking at its daftest.

@milaniet All I did was a slight crop. The camera is very clever, it takes a series of pictures and stacks them together. I just have to wait a few seconds for it to do what ever it does. I'm not sure how many images it uses, judging by the right antenna at least 6. The body was still so it could pile all the images one on the other & I was surprised to get the moving antennae because the camera tells me if stacking has failed.
Thank you both.

@julienne1 I confess I do too! I expected the camera to tell me it couldn't stack the images but it seems it concentrated on the body, which didn't move, and ignored the antennae. Great fun.
