@koalagardens You're right, his eyes are small and not the gorgeous green emeralds of some spiders. It's the hairiness that astonished me, I've never had such a cooperative spider model before and the ability to focus stack in camera to see all the detail

@joev I had to climb on a stool, reach over a table and basically hope I didn't fall! At least he was considerate enough not to move further away. Wish he had come down to MY level though, don't like climbing any more. Thanks, Joe

Whilst I like spiders and as they eat all sorts of (nasty?) insects, I never discourage them, yet recognise I'm probably one of a small minority. This one is a corker. Congratulations!
@s4sayer Thanks very much, Margo. Sometimes I'll put spiders outside but usually just leave them to get on with their little lives. And they are ALL called Oscar!
