For His Lordship, the Mighty Muscles, Rodi and Jane

His Lordship the Mighty Muscles died age 20 years & 3 months Sept 27 1988. 3 acorns were planted and grew as Bonsai Oaks. This is the third and final tree, joining the other two in their forever home, Three Hagges Wood-Meadow, near York.
Living memorials which in time will be magnificent Oaks, home to Purple Hairstreak butterflies and hundreds of other species.

Thank you Jesika for such a generous act in sharing this special time for you and your family. Rodi will always be with us and gave us some very happy memories

@angelunderwater I'll have a quiet word with your boy every time I visit the Meadow. He will know you haven't forgotten him.

I need a bit more information for this one. Sorry.

@susiemc Of course, Sue. Jane's (@angelunderwater) Rodi died unexpectedly yesterday and because we were planting His Lordship the Mighty Muscles' third memorial Oak it seemed appropriate to dedicate it to Rodi too.

@jesika2 ok. Are we talking People? Dogs? Cats? Horses?

A lovely living tribute

@susiemc Muscles was a Chihuahua, Rodi was Jane's dog. If you care to look at @angelunderwater you can see where it started. I suppose because I know I assume the world does, a bit daft really, but I've got a bus pass so am blameless in my insanity! LOL

@fbailey I don't think I could have ignored Jane's unhappiness when Rodi's passing coincided with the planting of Big M's 3rd Oak. They all have living memorials but only Big M's are away from home and of course those planted in California for Girlies.

@jesika2 Thank you Jesika. Now I understand. So sorry to hear about Rodi.

Sorry for you loss, very nice memorial.

@jesika2 @susiemc Rodi was a rottweiler we took of the street about 3 years ago. She unexpectly died Friday morning. Jesika's kind and thoughtful guesture is fitting for a kind and sweet dog.

@angelunderwater Thank you for this, Jane. I didn't know her story, our 6 have all adopted us when they were puppies. You gave her 3 years of happiness, now you weep, but as Oak3 grows, we will remember her.

@joev Thank you, Joe. I am sure you know the hole in the heart never fills, but all our dogs - and people - have living memorials.
