Dragon's Eye by jesika2

Dragon's Eye

I saw the Dragonfly fall into the pond, maybe it was newly eclosed, not sure. It tried to swim but couldn't of course. Found a long stick & rescued it. It dried out on my hand, posing for pictures. I didn't notice the water drop and the reflections until I checked the photos later.

Wow Jesika!!!! After reading your comments on the Monarch butterfly I thought I should have a look at your posts - and I'm overwhelmed :) Looks like you love insects, so I'm about to look at more of your posts - but first a fav and a follow :)

@monicac @featherstone26 @countrylassie @fbailey @lostphojo @lastrami_ @koalagardens @gardenfolk @gilbertwood @susiemc @merrelyn Thank you all so very much, my wet Dragon is popular & trendy and I'm so pleased he's alive. It wasn't quite Pamela Anderson style. He hadn't broken surface tension but was in the middle of the pond which could have made things difficult unless he climbed up a plant. But then I wouldn't have got this unusual shot and he's OK so that's all that matters.
Thank you all again,
j
