Gene's Monarch

Fremont, Ca, Dec 2015. The front garden boring as boring could be but the back - a revelation & riot of colour. A safe haven for all creatures great & small (sorry...). Humming bird feeders, insect hotels, wood piles, Gene had it all in his tiny garden.

@photographycrazy Thanks. I stayed with my friends in Fremont, visited SF (of course!) but much prefered the quieter Mission Hills area; Fremont & Niles and I liked Monterey too, home of Pacific Grove Monarch Sanctuary. j
