Murmuration Landing by jesperani

Murmuration Landing

Wow! I saw the biggest murmuration of starlings tonight and it was the first time I saw the end of one, when they all drop into the reed beds to nest for the night. I didn't think there would be room for them all, but they all made it, you can just see the dark patch where they began to land. Must have been cosy. And noisy!
Waw ! amazing - love to see this and the word "murmuration" seems to have a charm of its own !

That one is massive- I don't like it when I see large flocks of them around here- they are pests and usually drive away the good birds. But it looks like there's plenty of room for them there. Nice shot.
