Another Slice of Life

I was flown into the School District Office today to look at Math curriculum (150 miles from my village!) and was treated to this big event that was supposed to happen on New Year's Eve, but was postponed because of blizzard conditions last week. This is "Front Street" and beyond the line of cars is Kotzebue Sound, frozen salt water, on which they were running snow-go races and later tonight fireworks! Had to share!
