Well, it's time to take down the tree and the weather is puny again so I decided it was time to take pictures of some of my favorite ornaments- many of them given to us by my dearest cousin. She lives alone and sends us an amazing assortment of very beautiful gifts each year. This is one of them from many years ago. It is sweet to think of her.
Beautiful star and fabulous colorful bokeh! A friend took the time to make a written not about her sentimental ornaments so that one day her children would know what memories were attached to each. I have photographed my special ornaments this year and plan to write a note on the back of the photo the origin of the ornament, so that some day my son might know why they meant something to me. He may or may not care, but at least he will have the option.
Beautiful!! Love the bokeh! What a wonderful cousin! My mom sends me an ornament every year. I love putting them on the tree, and taking them off. I have so many now that I can almost fill a tree with them. So many happy memories.
Beautiful bokeh shot! I was planning to take my tree down over the weekend, but funnily enough, got sidetracked by photos that needed urgent attention...maybe next weekend!
