My workshop in Death valley was fabulous. I learned a lot that I will be excited to practice in the weeks ahead. I know I am way way behind in viewing your photos and in sleep...averaged less than 4 hrs/night for past 5 days. We went dawn to dusk and beyond! i will comment as soon as I can and will do my best not to swamp you with uploads. This was a shot taken at dawn our last day

Fav. I have spent a lot of time photographing dunes, and this one is a rare beauty. The stark layers and the hint of light in the darkest layer is magnificent. If it were mine, though, I would make it an all natural scene and clone out the distant hiker, who is too small to be anything but intrusive.
