I wonder if all Oregonians get the sense that wherever we go it rains! I was a bit demoralizing to have the sun shining for two weeks at home while we were traveling and rain seemed to follow us and our tent wherever we went. The clouds were amazing though and I like the way there is light on the mountains below them.
I know what you mean! We get blamed for rain when we travel...some friends tell us to stay home for fear we will bring it with us..hahaha! Proud Oregonians though! Love the capture of this sky! Beautiful shot!!
I felt that way in Washington State too! I lived there many years ago while I was in the Army. The scenery made it all worth wild though! I still think west is best but I have not been out west in to many years!
A tent??!! You're hardier than me. Nothing more annoying than sun at home when you're on holiday - it happens to us quite a lot (well used to before it started permanently raining at home as well). Makes for a fabulous dramatic shot though.
