Sitting Alone In the Last Light With Poetic License
I went a bit wild here and I think it only has any value if viewed large. There was something about this scene that we saw just as we left the Finley Wildlife reserve as the sun set that I really liked. I wish I could figure a way to draw the eye more to the solitary bird but didn't want to crop tighter. Any suggestions? The less edited version is in my extras album.

Great shapes. I didn't notice the bird at all, even large, until I read your description and had to go back to look. The only thing I can think of is adding a halo, like a moon or sun (or possibly a large star might work) behind it so it becomes silhouetted.
