It's such a treat to have a few nights with clear skies now that the sun sets a bit earlier. I went back to a favorite spot with a couple of friends. The tricky part was catching the shot when there weren't cars driving in the picture with their headlights. i took a few with light trails but ended up liking this better.

Absolutely outstanding - the setting is just perfect for what you were doing - I would so like to try one of these if I only knew of some place away from lights. Maybe some day. Meanwhile, I'm sure enjoying yours. Fav
I want to borrow your favorite spot, this is so gorgeous. The soft motion of the waves is part of what makes this photo stand out. And I appreciate that it is not overprocessed as it is so easy to do with Milky Way shots.
