Such a treat to have a couple of sunny days and starry nights. A friend and I went out to shoot the stars. My camera was working strangely and I feared it was needing to go to the shop, but when I got home and took off the lens and put it on again, everything was fine again. There was a lot of wind as you can see from the slight motion blur in the trees, so I didn't dare change the lens outside! Anyway, I got some practice using bulb mode since the shutter speed wouldn't shift to what I wanted otherwise. Best on black.

I have found that using ISO 100-200 and F3.5 to F5.6 gave me the best results. PSE can up the exposure, with resulting redness added, but changing to B&W gets rid of the the red glow.
