We had a clear night again finally just before our friends' roof goes on so I went back for somestar shots. I love how the milky way seems to have been brithed from the tree and ocean.

I came so close to going out and shooting last night, but I was too tired and cold (and lazy, clearly). Of course today, I'm filled with regret! Beautiful shot.
@taffy I know the feeling. I hate dragging myself out at night, just want to hang out and read, but once I get out there I don't want to stop! My friend who is building the house called to let me know that the plywood will be going on the roof to day so I knew it was my last chance. There will be shots in the next few days looking through the roof joists
