Elephant Impressions

I fear I have a computer virus...Windows has shut itself down twice this morning and when it has been on LR has shut itself down twice. argh. I have new shots from yesterday but am posting one I edited the day before because I can't get any work done on my computer with the new shots.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Lovely capture

Oh no re the virus, but wow, you have SO nailed this processing and use of textures to create such a dramatic scene. I'd hang any of these on my wall!

I love your processing of this, Jane. That's scary about a possible virus - do hope you get it straightened out quickly. Did my parade shoot last night and it took until 3:00 this afternoon to finish editing and posting them (140 shots). Only had to trash about 6 so your help was much appreciated!! Of course, I liked the ones in the Gazebo with Santa - lots of Christmas lights and 5 foot away - just had to post - no editing. But the 100 night parade shots were useable - which I wasn't sure I could do. Thanks again.

@milaniet will we get to see them here? I hope so. Glad it went so well

@milaniet The 2 albums are on my FB page if you do Facebook at all - Milanie Matthews - strictly a small southern town parade - if it had wheels it was in the parade! You can't believe the crowd for a town of less than 4000 - cars were parked for a mile on both sides of the main road.

Oh that elephant is wonderfully captured. Is he standing on a platform or stage?
December 12th, 2016
@jyokota no, he was on grass and dirt drinking water

@jyokota @taffy Junko's query made me look again and realize that I wish I had put his feet more in the grass and leveled him...maybe after my computer is working right again

@jgpittenger I do love your textured layering you do. So artistically wonderful. But yes, feet farther in the grass would have grounded him more but then you might have lost part of his trunk, and you'd hate to do that.
