Sorry to be behind in commenting. I was gone from home most of yesterday. We went North for a new sunset spot since we finally had a rain free day (though not as many clouds as I would have wished for for a good sunset!) but left early enough to look for some birds. We saw a bald eagle mating dance but unfortunately didn't have our bird lenses accessible in the moment. But we also saw two osprey on a nest and one (the male?) went off and brought home not one, but two fish. He left one with his partner in the nest and flew off to eat his undisturbed. I love how he was holding it in one talon. Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
This is fantastic, Jane. I like the position of the bird to its home tree, and that fish dangling from his claws makes the whole image tell a story. What if you had cropped a little below where the two branches come out, so that they are more clearly coming out from the trunk that the bottom of the image?
