Best on black. This is way too noisy since the light was almost gone and I shot this at ISO 3200, but it is such a treat to have some rufous hummingbird babies at our feeders once again.

The rufous have come back just this week where I live in BC. Nice capture. I like your feeder also. Its so much more interesting than the red plastic ones.
