I love seeing all the details in these beauties. We still have overcast skies...even some soft well needed rain this morning and most of our summer flowers are faded, so I'm posting another shot from my Elkton trip. Best on black.

Such a beauty and great capture with it's tongue/straw out. I was just trying to decide about posting tonight as one of the daddy-longlegs shots has the 'straw' but isn't looking straight at me, and the other has the better view. I had thought the 'straw' was a let until I saw the two images next to each other. The clarity in this shot is so strong, the tongue pops!
