Pearl's First Kayak Trip Far from the Shore

Jim is FAR more handsome than he looks here. The sun is shining right in his face but I thought Perl looked really sweet in her new life vest on her first journey far from shore. She is not the strongest swimmer in the world and during previous trips I've insisted they stay close in case she decides to jump ship. She seemed to have a good time and Jim and I sure did. We were scoping out the spot we want to view the eclipse from tomorrow assuming we aren't fogged in.

A great idea to have a life jacket for her! Although I thought all labs were strong swimmers...just hadn't thought about oceans and waves. She looks like a pro there!
