Best on black. I usually try to time my milky way shots so as to avoid including the lights of passing cars....though sometimes it is hard with long exposures and tourists still on the Coast. But this particular shot where the beams of the car coming though a bit of fog paralleled the Milky Way caught my eye.

Another great milky way shot and definitely enhanced by the car beams. I'm feeling very inspired, I have a camping trip planned for next month and I'm hoping to get some night shots.
I LOVE this shot!! The lights play against each other in an interesting way, with the MW seeming to say "I don't care how bright you are, light, I'm the more spectacular part of this scene." Instant fav.
