Red Tailed Hawk Flying High A La Jonathan Livingston Seagull

I'm thrilled that you liked my yesterday's blue heron portrait and took it to the PP. There is something about this shot that even as i was taking it reminded me of the feeling of the book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"...something magical about the clouds and sky with a bird flying free.
Jim and I are off to town to get his shoulder evaluated by the orthopedic surgeon. we are hoping for good news. I won't have time for a photo today so am posting another one from the Palouse trip that I just finished processing.
