Best on black. I'd never tried a star panorama before since I thought that with such long exposures the stars would move too much between shots but when I was standing there seeing almost the full arch of the Milky Way and my wide angle lens couldn't take it all in, I thought "why not at least try?" I turned off the long exposure noise reduction and took 7 vertical shots. When I put them together in the pano my mouth dropped in awe. It worked!!! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

WOWZIER .... that's just amazing . So I would guess the camera is on a tripod and you twist it for the pano because of the shutter speed ? just fantastic
