I had to laugh after Jim and I took our road trip and hardly saw any birds and then after we got home, Pearl, her friend Abby, and Abby's person Christine took a hike and were blessed with these eagle viewings! I figured after he lightened his load, he would fly but he didn't for quite a while. If you look really carefully, you can see a bit of his “load lightening” pellets.
