What a thrill! We went on the same hike as yesterday but this time I had my long lens. The grey whales were playing for a long time and the shot I liked the best was this one with the pelicans flying by. You’ll have to view on black to see the birds I suspect.

What a wonderful capture! And do you realise that you also have captured a "whale's footprint" to the right of the front whale? This is the circle of water that is created as the whale breaches. fav
