Siltcoos Outlet Milky Way by jgpittenger

Siltcoos Outlet Milky Way

Best on black. I've ben watching a Milky Way editing video on youtube by "Mr Rat". I had no idea that the nebula in Northern America is red but when I corrected the white balance and did a few other editing suggestions, I see that it is.
I love to learn new things. This was taken the same night as my previous shot but 5 shots were stacked using Sequator and then I edited it a la "Mr Rat"
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs

I could watch your photo for hours...I wonder what are the vertical strikes on the bottom of the pic?

@corinnec They are reflections of the stars distorted by the water moving a bit

Glad you answered Corinne's question - I wondered, too. This is another fantastic Milky Way shot - and quite interesting about the red Nebula being found in North America. This is just amazing on black.
