When I was out shooting the high surf the other day, I realized with having primarily been photographing birds and night skies for months I have lost my ease with composition and quickly using my camera while shooting landscapes. I think others who have been on this site for a long time like me may share my experience of not wanting to post ho hum photos when I know I can do better. The problem for me has been that I haven't been out shooting that frequently and I've lost my touch. So, I am determined to get back out there and to post what I have rather than expecting it always to be any good.
We now have had more than 18" of rain since October 10th so I was really happy to see some sky this morning and then there was a rainbow. I thought it was pretty nice with what remains of our Fall Color in the foreground.

Beautifully composed shot and colours. As long as I have been following you Jane, I have never seen a ho hum shot. You could never post a shot that is not worthy of posting, you can also never lose your magic touch 😊
