Dropping in for a short hello. We are back from our trip but not really "back" yet. It was mostly really good except for Black Pearl getting really sick and scaring us. After a trip to doggy urgent care for a mere $1800 and the prescribed treatment, she is back to herself. We had a lot of bird watching opportunities both at Summer Lake on our way South and at the slough at Santa Barbara University. We don't get night herons where I live so I was tickled to get this shot.
