We woke this morning after sleeping almost 10 hours to go down to the nearby Bay, Kealakekua Bay, to watch the sun come up. It was probably the most beautiful sunrise we have seen here in the years we have come. We watched as the color moved from the East, to the South, to the West. Pity I hadn't unpacked my tripod yet so it is pretty noisy with ISO of 3200! But I still think it is beautiful.

I have been so AWOL. I’ve had my new camera for nearly a year and haven’t gone exploring as much as I had hoped - nor have I learned as much either. Struggling with some memory. Might need a serious class to regain what I used to know about my camera. Now I have a Nikon D750 with a 50, 1.8 and a 24-120. We are doing the Panama Canal next month so I will have the opportunities to reinforce my love of photography So miss our times together but love living near family.
