One of the shots on my photography bucket list is a belted kingfisher. I was peddling my kayak and heard one. The only camera I had with me was a bridge camera that doesn't handle high ISO well and doesn't have enough pixels to crop severely, but the best camera is the one you have with you! Given that, I'm pretty happy.

It's interesting to see a grey and white Kingfisher - ours are nearly always quite brightly coloured with blues. And what a wonderful background - it must be just beautiful for kayaking. :)
