Interesting news. I asked the camera shop man about the noise...he said that background bokeh often comes out looking like noise. In fact it isn't. You only get noise if you have high ISO and slow shutter speed. This was shot at high shutter speed. So sorry to bore any of you that aren't as taken with humming birds as I am
