Milky Way At Carma Reedit

This was taken 4 1/2 years ago and I'm posting it for @mikegifford to see if he was ever at this wonderful star observatory called "Carma". Unfortunately they lost their funding and it is now shut down. It was one of my first time ever shooting the night sky and what a thrilling place it was to see it and shoot it. Best on black for sure. No need to comment. It is from my archives

@mikegifford it is one of the Owen Valley ones...called CARMA http://www.astro.caltech.edu/research/carma/ but I heard a few years ago that it had closed down. If you learn otherwise would you PLEASE let me know and if you set up a photoshoot there, I’d love to ve to know that too and might well try to come [e-mail]

What a great spot for night photography. I bet you'd love the opportunity to go back and have another shot with all of the skills that you have learnt over the past 4 1/2 years.
