It's that time of year, when the Sea Holly (Eryngiums Maritimum) starts to appear in the sand dunes. From nothing it 'sprouts' out of the sand and over the weeks the flowers slowly turn a purple colour. By the end of the summer it has completely disappeared again. Lovely to see it has arrived this year - that means Summer!
