Photography lesson......... learning about POV

This weekend we've had our friends from Essex up to stay. They bought a new Canon camera a few weeks ago, and have only been using it on the Auto settings but Terri said she wanted to learn some more. So, knowing that we didn't have time to cover Aperture or Shutter Speed, one of the basics I tried to show her to start with was Composition and Point of View. The Porsche is her favourite car so, taking into account what we'd been talking about earlier, she had a go at taking a shot of this car. I had to smile when she started by sitting straight in front of the car.... but then moved to one side because she decided she would get a better angle. A pro in the making! Oh, and we did have a great weekend too.
Great photograph of the learning process! What you were teaching is very important and I'm sure was of benefit to Terri.

Sounds like you were very helpful to her I've been interested on my holiday to see so many people using good DSLR cameras on full auto.

Great capture of a budding photographer. How lucky she is to have you to teach and coach her along the way.
