In The Grasslands

Went out exploring today and found the Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge. We did some walking and saw a few birds but mostly my feet got a little wet - I guess I should invest in a better pair of boots but it felt good to get outside.

Pretty shot of the grasslands - husband tells me each time I come home with soaking wet socks & shoes, that I should get some boots or waterproof shoes - I tell him too heavy - mine will dry by tomorrow. Like the winter colors here.

@milaniet - I agree they are too heavy and my shoes dried out the next day :)
@cherrymartina - I think I will stay on the path and not venture in the grass because who knows what could be in there :)
