This is the word of the day. I was one of the people who suggested it and have worked since Wednesday on my page. I wanted to use the photos I took last Saturday. One wasn't good enough to post here but with a little tweaking it made I think, a lovely old looking photo. I wanted to show a more artsy style of scrapbooking. I used the kit - ArtPlay Palette Family- AnnaAspnesDesigns. Annes pages are amazing. I hope I have done her kit justice. This is not something I do very well. But I like this page. Hope you will too.
@atwinfay I have more digital then paper but am thinking of getting a paper one down and photographing a page for another photo later. After getting a tire fixed, grocery shopping, veggie stand stop and going to the Nursing Home to play bingo. Think I'll have time.
Beautifully done!!!! A good choice. Love presentation and example of your artistic style. re: TT...actually I have had 4 TT's and they have all been a total surprise and delight. I have felt very humble to be among such talented photographers. Thanks for all your support and inspiration Joan...it has been fun getting to know you!
Well that's brightened up my Saturday - thank you Joan! I love your scrapbook work, it's where your creativity comes alive... you have a real gift for it.
wonderful. Putting pictures together is such fun. I have boxes and boxes in the basement (my mother's, my aunt's, my grandmother's, mine....). I don't even know where to start putting them together, though I keep having concept of making albums for other family members. The key might be to stop worrying about being comprehensive. Any pictures that float to the top might work great. At any rate, I like this picture and the concept of adding carefully selected words to a picture.
I love that you do digital scrap-booking. What an amazing way to use your photos! I must do some research into it.
Onto your get pushed challenge, I would like to see some food photography. It doesn't have to be a plate of food, you could even do an abstract. I hope you have fun with this.
Joan this is such a wonderful creative side of you. Thank you for sharing. I had never heard of digital scrap booking until I started following your project and had to google it. This is wonderful.
@barbarajdonnellan Barbara that's awful sweet of you. I signed up for a new class called soulful silhouettes. So I need to photography some silhouettes. So look and you should see some in my project.

Another of my hobbies.....cooking. Love this challenge
This is where I post. There are even lessons in repairing old photos.
